What is a storyboard?

E-learning and Storyboard Design

We have been developing storyboards for over twenty years. We started out creating storyboards for 'computer based training' and later moved to creating storyboards for 'e-learning' modules or 'online training'. The terminology has changed over the years but the instructional design principles have remained largely the same.

We have created storyboards for a range of training, helping learners to use systems, understand processes and products, develop skills and acquire different types of knowledge. Examples of the modules we have written include:

  • Workplace responsibilities
  • Web accessibility
  • A suite of mental iIllness awareness and education modules
  • Forklift Safety Code of Practice compliance training
  • Managing recruitment, selection and induction
  • Managing people performance
  • Establishing effective workplace relationships
  • Undertaking small business planning
  • A suite of accounting related modules
  • Mental wellbeing in the workplace
  • Designing databases
  • Providing financial and business peformance information
  • Alcohol and drugs in the workplace
  • Train the Trainer
  • Credit Card Insurance
  • Introduction to Economics
  • Telehealth
  • Communication
  • Whistle blower protection policy
  • Dangerous goods for postal services officers
  • A range of system based modules.
